The training session will focus on the nature of groundwater resources and related water quality issues, how wells are used to develop groundwater as a source of drinking water, the types of wells common to New Hampshire and how they are constructed, yield/performance testing, and pump equipment selection and installation. New Hampshire regulatory requirements and concerns will be discussed, along with the corresponding sequencing and timeframe associated with the permitting of a new well.
