  Agenda Wastewater -The Residuals Management Section of NHDES will take you through their PFAS Sludge Quality Certificate sampling investigations, and a step by step training on the sampling SOP they have followed. There will be an update on where the NHDES is with PFAS regulations, and the up and coming projects that will assist them in determining a PFAS sludge standard.
Drinking Water -After an overview of prospective contamination sources, different drinking water treatment options of PFAS are presented for large and small water systems. There are several different treatment options being implemented throughout the country and the world, which can be compared to what we are doing here in New Hampshire.
Funding Options -Attendees will be given an overview of RSA Chapter 485-H PER AND POLYFLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES (PFAS) FUND AND PROGRAMS recently signed into law and the associated PFAS Remediation Loan Fund (PFASRLF). Specifics of the loan program and how to apply will be discussed. In addition, a USDA representative will offer additional funding options through their organization.

Certificates are handed out at the end of each class. It is the responsibility of the operator to maintain their record keeping for license renewal. If a certificate is to be replaced there is an administrative fee of $15 for members for the first certificate, $5 for each additional certificate, and $25 for non-members for the first certificate, $10 for each additional certificate.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please contact GSRWA in writing at least three business days prior to the day of the course, or be charged a $30 late cancellation fee. If you do not attend the course and do not contact GSRWA, you will be charged a “No Show” fee equal to the original course registration fee. The No Show fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Written refunds/credits will be considered for special circumstances provided that the request is received within two weeks of the training date.
