The MCL for arsenic went from 50 ppb to 10 ppb in 2001. Approximately 20% of NH PWS exceed 10 ppb. Now NH has set an arsenic MCL of 5 ppb effective July, 2021. Systems that already have treatment with a blend will need to revise their treatment. Systems that use a consumable media may need to reconsider treatment as their operating cost will go up. And systems with arsenic between 5 and 10 ppb will have address this. This seminar will review the arsenic rules, what an RAA is, what the typical treatment methods are including point of entry and point of use, and the application issues in the field for sizing, installing, and maintaining these systems. Come to this seminar with your test results so we can discuss some real life examples.
